Install and connect

Get OpenCircle on your Mac, phone, or in a browser, and connect it to a Server.

There is no single universal login. Each Server serves its own clients, and you connect to the one your organization runs.

Desktop or the web client

  • Install Desktop — a signed macOS build that connects to any Server you choose.
  • Open the web client — use a Server directly from its own HTTPS address, no install required.

Mobile connection and recovery

Add a Server by its HTTPS address or QR code, then sign in. The Server must be reachable from your phone — an address such as localhost points at the phone itself, not your computer.

Some Desktop, web, administrative, paired-computer, and protected-content features are not available on Mobile yet.

Get OpenCircle Mobile

  • Download for iPhone from the App Store — check its listed compatibility before installing.
  • Download for Android from Google Play.
