Open the web client

Use an OpenCircle Server straight from its own HTTPS address — nothing to install.

Every self-hosted Server serves its own web client. There is no separate central login shared between Servers.

Connect

  1. Ask the Server's operator for its exact HTTPS address, and an invitation if membership is restricted.
  2. Open that address in a current browser.
  3. Sign in, or claim your invitation.
  4. Check the Server's name and circle before you put anything private into it.

The public project website is a marketing page, not a login — it will never silently move you between different private Servers.

Local and LAN addresses

A Server running on your own machine hands you a loopback HTTP address instead of HTTPS. Do not copy that address to another device — follow the LAN access guide and its limits for a trusted local network. Public Servers still require HTTPS.

If something's wrong

Unreachable address — check it with the administrator. Loads but won't sign in — use account recovery. Browser and Terminal controls differ across clients — check workstation prerequisites before assuming a control is missing.
